Berkley Select began operations in June 1992 as Monitor Liability Managers with just a few employees offering directors’ and officers’ liability insurance. Since then, the business has grown to over 100 employees while servicing partners nationwide from its home office in Chicago.
My insurance experience spans working at an MGA and multiple carriers specializing in professional liability. I have proudly served on the Professional Liability Underwriting Society’s (PLUS) Midwest Steering Committee and I have been a guest speaker as well as a moderator at several industry events. I enjoy what I do and the people that make this profession fun and interesting.
For most of my professional career, I have been fortunate enough to work for companies like Berkley Select that value diversity and do not tolerate discrimination. But, until last year, it was legal in many states to fire a person because they are gay.
